This initiative aims to create a supportive atmosphere where students can unwind, engage in enriching activities, and forge meaningful connections within their groups, promoting both personal growth and a sense of community.

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Academic Enrichment and Tutoring

Tutoring sessions will be offered in mathematics, Spanish reading, English, and writing, meticulously designed to align with rigorous state and local academic standards. This comprehensive approach aims to bolster academic performance across these critical subjects while offering invaluable additional support to students who may require it. These sessions are structured to enhance comprehension, foster confidence, and equip students with the skills necessary for success both in the classroom and beyond. This initiative underscores our commitment to nurturing each student's academic growth and ensuring they are well-prepared for future challenges.

4:30 PM - 5:15 PM: Comprehensive Training Activities

Monday and Wednesday: RTI

Activities and workshops will be provided to enable students to either recover foundational academic skills or advance under the guidance of Common Core coaches. This proactive measure ensures that students maintain their academic pace and effectively addresses any existing academic gaps. By tailoring these activities to meet individual needs and leveraging the expertise of specialized coaches, we aim to empower students with the tools and support necessary to excel academically.

Tuesday and Thursday: Literacy Programs

Financial and environmental literacy workshops will be offered to equip students with essential skills for daily life and to foster a heightened awareness of environmental issues. These workshops aim to empower students with the knowledge and practical tools necessary to make informed financial decisions, manage resources responsibly, and contribute positively to their communities.

Friday: Cultural Programs

Cultural activities encompassing music, art, and dance will be offered to foster cultural appreciation and creativity among students. These activities are designed to celebrate diversity and encourage exploration of different cultural expressions, providing students with opportunities to engage deeply with various artistic traditions.

5:15 PM - 6:00 PM: Active and Healthy Lifestyles

Nutrition education sessions will precede structured physical activities including sports, exercise, and games, aiming to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students. These sessions will equip students with knowledge about balanced diets, making informed food choices, and understanding the importance of nutrition for overall well-being. Following this, engaging in structured physical activities will not only encourage physical fitness but also foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills among students.

6:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Reflection and Closing

Students will participate in a brief reflection session on the day's activities and share their experiences.
